Seeing Santa

Finding a Tree and Decorating for Christmas!

This is it! Jadyn decided we looked long enough! I think we picked the coldest Sunday and the most windy day to go! But we still got our "real tree"! Jason pulling back the tree and kids "helping" him! Jaren helping some too! He thought he was such a big boy! Jadyn decorating her own tree. One evening she insisted on getting it up! Jadyn and Jaren's tree in Jadyn's room. Maybe next year Jaren can have his own. Right now no. The Final tree! Jaren has taken several ornaments off and on by this picture. And likes to pull the "balls" the beads!

Meeting baby Kinnick!

We finally got to take a trip to see baby Kinnick! Jadyn had wanted to go down last weekend..but no baby so we couldn't go. We left Saturday morning and spent the night and headed home Sunday evening! It was a great trip and everyone had fun holding Kinnick and playing with Sadie! Her and Jaren had fun together. Jason and Kinnick takin it easy.. Jaren and Sadie sharing some chips! Jaren thought he was being sneeky.. Jaren giving Kinnick some kisses! He loved patting his head and kissing him! Jaren and Sadie ready for bed with their pacifiers!!

Happy Thanksgiving a little late!!

We found this cute idea to make turkeys using apples, marshmellows, fruit loops, candy corn, and chocolate chips! The kids had a blast making these and then eating them too!

Jadyn's 6th Birthday!

This was all the kids at the party minus Jaren, he didn't want to be in the picture!

Jadyn got a Hannah Montana bike from us. She was excited it has a kick stand on it!

One kid gave Jadyn a bracelet kit, so we made bracelets for everyone at the party!

6 girls stayed the night! They had a blast...We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks and ate popcorn. We also put Hannah Montana tatoos on, glittered everyones hair, painted fingernails, and had a pizza party. Jadyn had alot of fun! The next day we took Avery Waner and Laney to see the movie Madagascar 2 and ate and played at McDonald's. She had a great Birthday!

Fall Pictures

Leaves and 75 Degree weather!

This morning we went on a rather windy walk and then came back to play in the leaves. Jaren helped rake for awhile but quickly ran to his mower to ride around the yard.

Halloween Day!

There was no school on Halloween so the kids wanted to wear their costumes to my house! We started the morning off playing card games and watching several movies. We then ordered pizza from Jiffistop and had soda. After a short nap we had cupcakes and milk. Jadyn then passed out her treat bags. Everyone had a great day! We took them trickortreating for about an hour which gave us way more treats than we needed! Jaren atfer every time he got some candy would say "more, more?" and then "please". It was too funny!

Carving Pumpkins!

Last Thursday Jadyn reminded us that we needed to carve a pumpkin since Halloween was the next day! So she went out to the porch and picked a pumpkin to carve. Then she got a marker and showed daddy how she wanted it and then he did the cutting! Here is Jadyn scooping out the seeds. Jaren was too impatient and wanted to take a bath while we did this so he didn't get to help!

50th wedding anniversary for my grandparents!

This past weekend was a very busy weekend! On Sunday was my grandparents on my mom's side 50th wedding anniversary. So we worked on getting pictures throughout the 50 years and put together a slide show, which my grandma was very surprised about and loved it! Then we all went to their church outside of Bowen to attend service with them and show the slideshow. Then we all headed to Hotel Nauvoo for lunch. These pictures were taken there. Although, my camera battery died and I didn't get one single picture of them on there! I did take some on my aunt's camera though! the 4 cousins! happy as can be!
