Getting ready for Summer!

Jadyn's Field Trip

Of course we had to get a picture with Jaren on the field trip too!

The girl in the red was her best friend from school Madison and the Marlow twins.

This was Jadyn's big field trip taken the last day of school! This is her whole class and teachers. It was a very cool day but she had alot of fun!

The Kids Own CUB!

Jadyn and Jaren have been riding their cub cadet around the yard almost everyday! Jaren loves to ride on it with his sister. He also loves riding on the real mower with daddy! Jadyn likes to tell everyone she has her own little cub cadet just like her daddy sells at the shop! Jaren also found out he loves the Star popsicles from Dairy Queen! Aunt Tecia thought it would be a great idea to bring them for snack for daycare. And of course Jaren also thought he needed one. He made a huge mess, but LOVED it! Jadyn this week is patiently waiting for school to be out. Everyday it's "how many more days?" Well she is now down to 6 days and her last day being her field trip. Today she took each of her teacher's a card she made and a daylilly to plant for teacher appreciation week. She thought she was such a big girl getting on the bus carrying her plants. It's hard to believe she really is a BIG girl now, she's 5. I constantly tell her I want her to stay little forever. A couple weeks ago she said, "mommy" and I said, "what?" and Jadyn said, "if there was a shot that the doctor could give me to make me stay this size, I would let them give me the shot." I didn't know what to say, she hates shots! and has been dreading kindergarten shots already! That just melts my heart! I said no you want to get big and go through school and graduate, get a job, and have a family. She agreed! That is pretty much our week in a wrap!

Phone Ringing

I just thought I should tell this story.. This morning at 6:50, Jaren had just gotten up and was walking around my bedroom when my alarm clock went off. Jaren ran over to the phone and tried picking it up. He looked at me and was like pick up the phone. I said no Jaren that was my alarm clock. He contiually looked at the phone and was wondering why it wasn't "ringing" anymore. I just had to laugh and tell him again it was my alarm clock and I pointed to it.

Another quick tid bit.. Jaren had misplaced his toothbrush earlier this week. Last night I ran to town and I picked him up another one. This morning I gave it to him, and he was so thrilled! He smiled real big and was happy to have it in his hand.

Jadyn came home from school and was excited they are going on a field trip their last day of school to Argyle Park in Colchester. "And we even get to have a sack lunch", she pointed out! So she's pretty excited about the whole thing! She also had dance last night, which she doesn't like too well but we found out her recital is May 30th! So this is the last month, which she was grateful about.
