An Awesome Sunday in the 80's!

A very windy day too.. Jadyn tried to fly her kite! The little one was a little harder! Yes Jaren still loves riding his "mow mow" and mowing with his dad! Brady.. our not so little puppy anymore! Jadyn loves doing the monkey bars..she can go all the way across at the park. Jaren on the big boy swing by himself...it makes him feel like such a BIG boy! Jadyn just insisted it was nice enough to slip and slide! Brady wanted to join in on the water fun too!

Here is Jaren with his new hat. He likes to wear it on walks to keep the sun out of his eyes. This day he decided to wear it on backwards and thought he needed to take his shirt off as well! What a cute little guy!

All Boys Day...@ daycare!

Last week Brilyn was gone for the day so it was just Brandon, Kayden, Jaren, & Jake. It use to be where I had mainly girls and now everyone is having boys! They had a great day on their own.

Another little Update...

Jaren has been doing great going on the potty with very few accidents! We also went the whole week without his pacifiers although he asked about them almost everyday...so he is done with them I threw them all away. Also this past Friday was our High School play was the King & I. Jadyn and I attended while the boys stayed at home. Jordan and Kassie both played a part in it. Also Laney my neice had a part. She loved it and I was impressed on how well 2nd graders CAN listen. It was great to get to see them all take a part in acting/singing.

Happy Birthday Brilyn!

This weekend we headed to Quincy to spend the night in a hotel for Brilyn's 3rd Birthday which was on Sunday. We had a great night! We did lots of swimming, ordered pizza, ate cake, opened presents and had lots of fun! We got up Sunday morning did a little more swimming and ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It was a good ending for our little trip! Hot tub fun.. they liked the Hot water better! Abbey keeping Brilyn warm after swimming! Foam fun in the bath @ the hotel! The Birthday friends, Alivia, Abbey, Laney, Jadyn, Jaren, Maddie, and Brilyn Brilyn and her Hello Kitty cake!

Meeting baby Wade!

Our friends Brent and Mandy Gooding had their new baby boy on Saturday night so last night we headed up to see them in Keokuk at the hospital. Here is Jadyn holding Wade. Jaren held him for a little bit but he kept wanting to hug and kiss the baby so I didn't get a picture. It was a good little trip..although Jaren now thinks he wants a baby! Here is big brother Nolan and Jaren eating some crackers!

New fish and Fishbowl items

Well I don't know how well you can see in these pictures, but we let them pick out 3 new fish on Sunday in Jacksonville. There is a white one, Jadyn named Angel. A white, orange, and black one named Nibble. And a little bity one named Clown. Jadyn came up with all the names! Good thing she is 6 and not naming her kids this!

Jaren becoming a BIG BOY!

Jaren hasn't had his pacifier since Friday night. He went all day Saturday without asking for it so I opted not to give it back to him. Sunday after sunrise service he was wanting it so we told him the easter bunny took it! So he is officially done with the paci!! Also, he went 5 days staying dry in his pull-up so today I let him wear his underwear! And he stayed dry all day even through nap!

Our new family Pets!

The kids have both been wanting fish! Our neighbors have a tank with several fish and the last few times we have been into Walmart we have to check out the fish! So I decided we should purchase this for their Easter gift from us. They were both super excited about the present! Jadyn just kept saying," I can't believe we got fish!" Here are the first 3 fish I picked out without the kids. Jaren picked the "orange one" and he decided to name it Orange! Jadyn wanted the one on the top and named hers Rainbow. Jaren asked where mine was so mine is the sucker fish, and his name is Tiger.

Easter Eggs!

We decorated Easter eggs twice this year! Once with the daycare kids and then with Sadie when she got into Bowen on Saturday! It was alot of fun both times! They really enjoy doing this.. Sadie and Jaren were gettting a little messy so we took their shirts off.
