Funny Sayings!

Okay.. we have been really busy these past couple a weeks and I will get to some pictures maybe this week but I wanted to share a couple of funny things my kids and daycare kids have shared this week! Yesterday we went to Quincy to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a slip n slide, water balloons, and water guns! With the heat coming we thought we should be prepared to have WATER activities. So, anyway, we were on our way home and we saw a state cop on the side of the road and the kids get to talking about what jail was like. One of the kids ask "When you are in jail, do you only get bread and water to eat?" I said, "No you get other food but I doubt it's real good." They reply," So they don't get like steak?" I laughed and said,"I doubt it!" Yesterday we also had a storm roll through Bowen about 3:30 or so and that was right when we were putting up the slip n slide and we headed in. The power went out at 4:00 so we colored, played with play doh, and flubber. What next? So once all the kids left I decided to see when Jason would be home so we could go somewhere. I was bored already! Well in the meantime I asked Jadyn do you want to go to Keokuk to eat with Kelsey? Jadyn said," Mom, there's no power our car won't work!" I said,"Jadyn it's just in the house." Then later she said,"Mommy I really have to use the bathroom, what do I do?" I said, "You can still go to the bathroom." The kids say the darnest things! One more short story..we were swimming at grandma Sue's and a cloud went over the sun, Jaren looked at me and said,"The light went out mommy! Turn it back on!" The cloud moves and the sun pops back out, Jaren says,"Oh, the light's on Mommy!"
